This flatwoven kilim was woven of hemp in Yozgat, Turkey. Hemp rugs can vary in texture: this is an incredibly soft, supple rug that feels as soft as a blanket. It would be an excellent option for a bedroom, living room, or any space where you desire a soft-to-touch underfoot feel. Made of 3 panels, this rug includes classic turkish embellishments of dyed stripes, and "jejim" details. The "S" details represent snakes, a symbol of protection. Color variation, and signs of wear with vintage items is normal. All rugs are washed prior to shipping.
